About UCAN

UCAN – Utility Consumers’ Action Network: provides a voice for utility consumers. We represent consumer interests in regulatory proceedings on utility-related matters before the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC). Through UCAN’s work before the CPUC, the state regulatory body which regulates California’s investor owned utilities such as SDG&E: San Diego Gas and Electric, we have represented ratepayer interests by advancing policy positions in rulemaking proceedings, challenging unwarranted requests by utilities to raise rates, and filing consumer complaints against unfair utility practices.
