CPUC to Accelerate EV Charger Deployment

In a recent proceeding that UCAN contributed significantly, the Commission announced it would offer more flexibility in what infrastructure can be deploy before 2025.  And the CPUC required the utilities should follow to ensure equity in their EV infrastructure rollout, including a requirement that utilities target at least 50% of their infrastructure or expenditure for customers in underserved communities. Jason Zeller has over thirty years of professional experience in public utility regulation, including experience in all of the industries regulated by the CPUC. Previously he served as an Assistant General Counsel at the Commission for twelve years and was a staff counsel for six years.
