Sunrise Powerlink
Besides being creative this little video is GREAT. SDG&E and Sempra are not being honest about why they want the lines and who will really benefit. One of the main reasons except for their greed is to provide lines to transmit energy to Los Angeles, not just San Diego as they claim. This will economically and environmentally hurt the Cities, towns and rural communities the proposed lines pass through. They will pass through Imperial Valley, the Anza Borrego Desert, the Cleveland National Forest, ‘Wilderness’ areas, and other pristine areas, not to mention through the home of the already endanger Big Horn Sheep; all these places would be forever scared and never recover from the damage of construction, from the noise the lines will continually make, and the health and environmental hazards from the EMF… Much more can be said as to why these unsightly power lines are not good for San Diego or Imperial Valley and it is up to each one of us to stand up and be counted.
