Sprint's new fees effective 01-08
Sprint is assessing two new monthly charges per line as of January 1, 2008. They are an Administrative Charge of $0.75 and a Regulatory Charge of $0.20. Do these charges qualify as material changes allowing another out from our contracts? Has anyone tried to get out on this one yet? If so we have until February 1 for another round of wiggling out of our contracts.
I called again yesterday and
I called again yesterday and they told me i should switch to Sprint for a better coverage ( same company i guess) and i told her all i wanted was a service that works, i paid over $500 for the 3 lines i have last month and my calls keep dropping, now get this... she wanted me to PAY for a new phone, because my Nextel phone wouldnt work with my new sprint Coverage.
Isn't that SURREAL ?

Dear Stephane Marchand,
Thank you for your reply.
I have checked the coverage in your area. Our resources reflects a good coverage in your area.
If the service on the account is cancelled on the account the early termination fee will be applicable.
To avoid the early termination fee, I suggest you to switch the service to Sprint. Your area has a good Sprint coverage. If the service will be switched to Sprint the early termination fee will not be charged.
We have a dedicated group of specialist who resolve such type of concerns. Please, call us at 1-800-777-4681. Our specialist will provide you with all the details.
Thank you for emailing us. It was a pleasure assisting you and I look forward to more opportunities to serve you in future. Have a great day!

I believed this was
I believed this was materially adverse changes to my contract. I have called Sprint on two different occasions and was told the following:
(1) I am outside the 30 days to make the change, then was RUDELY accused of having an ulterior motive to canceling my plan;
(2) The change has nothing to do with my contract. The text messaging price increase is not considered materially adverse change.
Do you have any suggestions?
i wish i knew
I wish i could cancel mine, i have called customer service many times and they want me to pay a 200 dollars fee to do so, as we have 3 phone that will be a fee of 600 dollars !!
This is ridiculous, i have no reception at my house anymore, when i do get calls at the Office they get dropped withing minutes. My text messages download 50% of the times.
I wish i knew a solutionm or something i could do to cancel my contract asap, if anyone has any tip on how to do so, for the Love of god let me know.
Thanks.
