Money, Finance, and Debt Collection
important reason in the changing
An important reason in the changing nature of public opinion toward real estate is the volatility and fluctuating volume of the industry itself Real estate is a game played primarily with borrowed money, and it is relatively easy for a great segment of the population to participate. Especially when times are good and real estate prices are rapidly increasing, huge numbers of people get involved in buying, selling, leasing, building, renovating, and additional aspects of property investment and development. These new entrepreneurs can rapidly become an obstacle to any kind of meaningful reform or regulation. Many of them are small-scale operators who have only recently succeeded below the existing policies and fear that proposed changes might be economically detrimental to them.

Tenant Prisoner of Section 8 Red Tape
UCAN assisted a Section 8 family in saving approximately $4800 in gas & electric payments. The San Diego Housing Commission document and the tenant lease showed the property owner responsible for paying all utilities. Section 8 continued payments to the owner even though the tenant notified the agency that utilies had been shut off for weeks at a time over a period of a year. UCAN contacted SDG&E and faxed proof of the responsible party to the company. SDG&E sent a truck to the home where an entire family was staying in their car with the heat on during a recent cold front. The company turned the power on immediately as a courtesy and has allowed the tenant to put the utilities in her name without penalties. UCAN is currently working with the water department and Tenants' Legal Center of San Diego to provide a permanent solution and to prevent other victims from abuses by the system and property owners.

How can I get annual credit reports from the major agencies? I have found a couple of websites but they seem sketchy and ask for my social security number. What do you recommend?

CCA's Criminal Harassment Coupled With Threats
I was harassed earlier this hour by a collection agent from CCA of 1670 Market St.,Suite 108 Redding, CA 96001, who acted unprofessionally against me by hanging up on me.
In fact I attempted to speak with a supervisor and instead received another mentally retarded flunky who chose to ignore my commands to connect me with a supervisor and instead kept playing with the phone leaving loud prolonged noises, choosing to ignore my commands for a supervisor or the Chief executive Officer, and even hanging up on me, even threatening to call the police on me.
For the record, I have the right to say whatever I want, whenever I want, wherever I want, however I want, to whomever I want, especially if someone calls me out of the blue to demand money from me.
