we purchased a motor home in

we purchased a motor home in 2008 In the contract they said they would get the title on the vehicle, that it had been lost. After being gien a few hundred excuses as to why we have not recieved one yet. We are now attempting to get the vehicle ready for sale. Supposedly they had a bond issued on it, we could not get it because of an old bancruptcy. The state would not allow the original owner to get it without proof of insurance. < which he has> He could not get it because of an insurance claim, . Is there anyway we can either find a way to get the title, or have some legal recourse to get our money back from them?

complaint on all cellular connections

Dear Sir,

I have been always disturbed by the cellular companies regading the advertisements songs etc, in the mode of call and sms which is not at all tolerable. We have made many complaints regading this to concern networks, resulted in nothing.
Recently we are being disturbed by the cellular companies giving calls to us and making us to hear the speaches of politicians, which is against the human and cellular rights.
My self availing connection from the cellular connection, doesn't mean that they could disturb me as and when and how they feel so, just to get benifit out of these kind of cheap aggrements between the political parties.
I think these cellular companies should service the customers rather that servicing the parties who ever pay them a lot.
IS THERE ANY ONE CELLULAR COMPANY WHICH CAN SAY THAT THEY ARE PROUD OF NOT THEMSELVES SURRENDERING BEFORE THE POLITICIANS.
CAN ANY SENIOR OFFICIAL COULD TAKE UP THIS ISSUE.

"Unwind" Car

My friend bought a NEW Scion from Koons, Tysons Corner, VA. She questioned the 400 miles on the car and was told it was driven "from dealership to dealership." Weeks later she found in the glove box a complete set of sales papers - the car had been previously sold. Since Scion's are "pure priced" she didn't get any discounts but paid the full NEW price for what, I think, is a USED car. Any advice?

"new" car with mileage question

While researching various makes and dealerships I found one I liked, but it had 781 miles on it, and none of the original factory "hang tags" or documents were on it. (For example is the window sticker actually in the window ? the correct window. Does it look like it was recently taped on ?) I ran a CARFAX on a hunch, and to my surprise it showed as having been previously sold. Although it had low mileage, it had been operated for nearly 3 months. The dealer advertised the car as "new". I said it was not, that it was previously sold. They of course asked how I knew that, and I asked if they had run a CARFAX. The car had been DX'd from another dealership, so perhaps they were not aware of this history on the car. But they knew what the mileage was and where it came in from.

I wouldn't buy anything with more than 50 or 60 miles on it as "new", and only if the window sticker shows that the dealership that has it is where it was delivered to. If there is another dealership name and more than 60 miles or so, it was probably DX'd to your dealer. To me that sends up red flags. Sure it may qualify you for lower factory-financing incentives you won't get if it were sold as a "used" car. But to me it is "used" and you should get a very substantial discount. Under no circumstances would I pay sticker or even close to sticker for someone else's mistakes. That's just how I see it, after 40+ years of car-buying experience.

Is auto dealed allowed to

Is auto dealed allowed to put excessive lease milage chareges under accessories on a new car purchase in order to obtain financing?

Hi Hal, I just purchased a

Hi Hal,

I just purchased a new pilot three days ago in Maryland but I am afarid that I have been scammed. The new pilot had 190 miles on it and I refused to take it at first. But the manager there did not want to give my $500 deposit back and claimed that I have to take that car. In the end, I accepted $400 off the original price and drove it back since I need a car badly.

Yesterday I found this pilot has two dealer's name tags on it. One is from the place I bought and the other is unknown. Considering the 190 miles and two name tags, I worried whether I purchased a used car/demo car/or take back car instead of a new car I agreed to buy. My question is: how can I tell whether this is a new car? If it is not, where I should go to get some help?

Thanks a lot for your kind help.

did I get a new car, or someone else's "used" car

SCAM???

There is an used auto lot that sells over priced cars to the credit challenged consumer. They are in partnership with mr. transmission who supposedly pre-inspects the vehicles prior to selling them. When the vehicle is sold the cusumer is given a warranty on the car to fix the engine, transmssion and a/c at half the cost that mr. transmission will charge. The car lot already knows what is wrong with the car and is either a silent owner or takes kick-backs from mr transmission. They refer the consumer to mr. transmission (stating that that is their service department) to fix all the other (known to them only)existing problems on the vehicles at outrageously inflated prices. It appears that they are being paid twice simply because they have the same people working in the offices at both places. If you call for one they ask you to hold on so they can somehow transfer you to the other site (way across town). It seems like a scam and needs to be reported.
