Incompetent and Waste of Precious Time

Lemon Grove Veterinary Hospital
7572 North Avenue, Lemon Grove, CA 91945-1624

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My wife was home alone with Cooper, our dog of ten years. After breakfast he vomited and started labored breathing and would not get up. We called our vet who made arrangements to take our dog here for care. We were loosing him fast. Our vet gave them all the specifics and made sure they understood that this was an emergency. This place is less than a mile from our home where our regular vet, who is fantastic, was over 15 miles away. The LG Vet hospital said no problem bring him right over. My wife got him into our truck with the help of a neighbor and took him over. The staff had absolutely ZERO sense of urgency. The lazy girls on staff said they couldn't lift him and would give my wife no help getting him inside. Once inside, they were laxidasical and did not know what they were doing. When the vet finally did come in, had no clue what to do. Said this is an emergency and he didnt know what to do. I finally arrived from my work in Poway, ran in picked him up and took him back to the truck. My wife got in the rear with him and I sped off for the emergencey clinic on Jackson. Cooper passed away on route. lemon Grove Veterinary Hospital was a complete waste of 20 minutes of Coopers time. If they were not able to handle emergencies they should have said so!!!! As far as I am concerned, they cost our Cooper his life!!! If they had a place for zero star rating I would give it to them. NEVER EVER WOULD I TAKE ANY ANIMAL TO THIS PLACE. HORRID STAFF AND INCOMPETENT VETS!
