Double Issue, UCAN Watchdog, click to load PDF
Click here for a PDF of our 2009 Summer Fall Watchdog.  This oversized double issue issue reports on the accuracy of some fairly bizzarre predictions we made ten years ago on the eve of the millenium and the Y2K scare. One thing we didn't predict ten years ago was a sex scandal  involving SDG&E and its parent company, Sempra Emergy.  In this issue we explain how the Vice Chair of the California Utilities and Commerce Committee (and also a member of the Assembly Ethics Committee), Mike Duvall, bragged about having repeated sex with SDG&E lobbyist Heidi DeJong Barsuglia.

Sempra lobbyists caught doing anything to influence votes ... including Assemblyman Mike Duvall

The 33 year old lobbyist worked for Sempra and SDG&E. See Video You could say that Sempra and SDG&E lobbyists have a great work ethic - in fact it appears that their "working girl" lobbyists are doing a bang up job of influencing votes on California utility issues.  Get the full story and watch the video.
