NBC 7/39: Gas prices to breach $3 a gallon soon, says UCAN
The average of $2.84 per gallon was the highest San Diego had ever seen on March 1, NBC 7/39 reported. On the same date in 2006, oil was selling at $67 a barrel and gas was $2.50 a gallon.
