Gas prices rocket to new record high

                       Gas prices sky high, poised to rocket higher

Even though the price of oil is dropping on rumors of a global investigation into price-fixing by The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), San Diego gas prices are screaming to new record breaking levels.

The current average for San Diego recular unleaded is $4.22 a gallon, while diesel averages $5.12 a gallon.

This new, record high price for unleaded is 86¢ more than last year on this day, and up 12¢ in the last 72 hours. Diesel now costs $2.07 more per gallon than it did on this day last year, and has increased by 67¢ in the last 30 days. (see table below for fuel price histories).

KEEP EM RISING!!!

I hope that gas keeps going up so the Lazy American will start to change their views on mass transit, using alternative energy sources, demanding from our elected morons to invest in alternatives and mass transit.

The increasing price of gas is a good thing. Better than any boycott could have ever done.
