The issues regarding lower
The issues regarding lower prices reflect lower demand and a steady decline in crude oil prices caused by the worldwide economic downturn of gas engine fuel saver. Oil prices have fallen by more than half from $147 a barrel in July because of lower demand.
The Patient's Not That Ill
he's just slimmed down to where he should be.
Figuring inflation from the 1960's, gas should be around $2.00/ gallon, if it kept pace with the general rate of inlfation. Add .30 for the regular SoCal gouging, and you have it; "Voila, regarde":
Gas prices are just about where they should be, (minus speculation) in very simplistic terms.
This does not take into account scarcity and consumption trends, but it's a good rule of thumb.

That is if you take your standpoint from a Darwinism point of view. And if this way of "life" was true and our government realized it, what would be the outcome in the future?
We've stuck with the same two government styles, Democratic and Republican, for years because it once worked. Maybe, since the fact that our technology and standards of living are different, our strict politicians haven't kept up with the pace of evolution.
We realized and continue to realize that our government isn't working when we have a deficit of funds at the end of each year with no hope of relieving these high debts and heavily taxing our own community.
Maybe it's time for a new form of government, written based on the type of population we live in now. From what I hear and see, people are ready for a change.
