Gas prices enter uncharted territory

UCAN News

Today, gas prices broke the all-time record high for San Diego of $3.50 a gallon set on May 9, 2007. The new average -- $3.52 a gallon for regular unleaded -- represents uncharted territory as a new record high price for gasoline in San Diego County. According to the Energy Information Agency, the national average for gasoline is now $3.16 a gallon.

The current average for San Diego diesel is $3.89 a gallon.
