lowest monthly rate on landline service, long distance,no caller

I cannot affored any of these extras, caller ID, call waiting, all I need is service for local calls on landline phone

all i need is local sevice on land line

I am looking on internet to connect w/at&t to find sommeone there who can explain options available for landline only customers and can get nowhere on their websites as it appears they don't want 2 do anything but sell "bundled services".
Looks like i will soon go to snail mail and come out ahead on my phone bill. Good Luck!

Monthly long distance rates ATT Calif. landline

I have ATT residential landline telephone service. I have "JustCall Standard" long distance ($3/mo) which becomes $4.31 with taxes and fees. I commonly make no LD calls during a month, using my cell phone instead. How can I remove the monthly LD charges, a service I don't use?

Can I eliminate the monthly fee by switching LD companies?

Thanks,
Dave
