Sometimes you need a smaller

Sometimes you need a smaller appliance. If your refrigerator is rarely full (maybe you have a small household), make your next one a smaller one, because it's on all the time. I wish I could get a smaller dishwasher, because I run only full loads (to save water and energy), but run it not very often. My big clothes washer is just fine though, because I can just do my laundry less often.

BTW, Americans wash their clothes far too often. It wears out their clothes and wastes water and electricity. Washing machines were supposed to be labor saving devices, but when they first became popular, people just started washing their clothes more often.

Also, save a buttload on bottled water by getting a good water filter. (No not one of those cheap ones.) It also reduces plastic waste from the bottles. Save up your individual size water bottles or get a re-usable one and keep refilling it.

large appliances

Great advises, i will seriously consider this specially now when everybody is preoccupied whit saving house consuming energy. The acquisition of a good but a little bit more expensive appliance part can save us a lot of stress, nerves, even money if we consider the long term. So why shouldn't i try this option?
