I hope this motion would be
I hope this motion would be enough to solve the problem. UCAD did the right thing here and now it's their turn to respond. For those who still don't have a clear idea about what a motion is. Whenever a party wants the court to do something, he or she needs to make a written request to the court, which is what a motion really is. There are many types of motions, each of them is specific for a certain action. For instance motion for leave to file cross-complaint is a request for handling cross complaints, it's simple as that.
SDGE sub contractors/ tree trimmers
04-08-09
An SDGE sub contractor trimmed a pine tree on my property. It was trimmed in the middle of August. the tree died. I am told by an arborist that trimming pines in hot weather makes them susceptible to disease.
SDGE would not pay to have the tree removed; stating it was not due to the tree being trimmed.
I have since, on numerous occasions, requested a receipt for work (a guarantee). Not only was I not given a receipt/work order, I was told I was subject to arrest if I did not grant their subs access to my yard.
They continue to access my yard w/o my permission when I am at work. Debris is left, a concrete wall was damaged and the tree/s are still in the power lines (the reason for the trimming).
I am at a loss. What can I do to protect my property. I don't mind that they trim the tree. But a more accurate account would be that they butcher the tree. So, I have paid to have it trimmed by an arborist. The subs continue to come out and trim it; but it does not need trimming.
Please help.
Sincerely,
Disgruntled SDGE customer.
