Yes I agree, we voted on something to increase this form of energy last election.
I do not see anywhere where company's or consumers can take advantage of this.
Other than a little less red tape when getting permits.

I don't understand why there seems to be no discussion about incentivizing photo voltaic home systems as an alternative to these huge power lines or new power plants. Think of all the homes in SO CA that could use the sun to generate power and sell it to SDG&E. They do this in Europe; why not here? Are we too set in our private ways? If SDG&E, coupled with the State, provided low cost loans, or tax rebates and purchased (not just stored for a cloudy day) all the power generated by home photo voltaic systems, we would not have to build the power link thru environmental sensitive deserts. Think about it folks; we all generate power for the community, SDG&E buys it from us and puts their money there instead of into very large power projects.
