heap assistance

 I was given a phone number to call for HEAP assistance. i called on tuesday November 3rd. I was told to call back on wednesday between 8and 9 am. I did this and i got a recorded message to press 0 and an operator will assist me. the line went dead. so i called back and got the same thing over and over again. I finally got through at 2 pm and was told that i should have called between 8 and 9 am. and now it was too late for them to help me............any suggestions would be welcome............

help with elictric and gas

my wife and I have worked very hard all of our life. I am 54 years old my wife and I have been marriedfor 28 years.
probleems I run into
(1) Iam not old enough nor my wife (close)
(2) We have to much
(a) the problem is when someone who has paid into all of these programs and when they need a little help over the bump in there life, there no help over the bump. The bump needs to grow into a mountain and you are loosing everything then people offer the programs.
(b) my wife and I built a nice little rentale business (9 homes) but when people lost there jobs and lived in the house for free legally for 3 months or more. We are now down to (6) homes and getting ready to lose our house.
(c) After we loose become devoriced loose all tjhe homes we will be intitled for help

Need Energy assistance

My husband was recently discharged from the Us Navy and it hard or him to find employment at the moment.
His unemployment benifits have been cut off and we have limited source of income.
