Calling SDGE for a usage request resulted in they need the morning and afternoon reading in order to deliver this figure.

When my wife filmed their activity they got angry and started packing their stuff. They even suggested to bribe her with $200 which she refused.

We do have some documentation on the company doing the contracting work.

My first reaction is "Duh!" if I'm a customer I would expect the utility company to have enough generating facilities to meet demand at all times - and am I not paying for that already via the 1) electric charge, 2) transmission charge, 3) distribution charge? Why is there a separate charge to ensure I get "reliable" service? It's like asking for a (mandatory) tip for something you should already be doing as part of your job!

Accounts that have 3 returned checks within 12 months are restricted to cash or money order payments for 2 years. I agree that online payments seem to benefit both parties. But reason doesn't work for SDG&E.

My wife usually pays the bills and evidently not very well. Now SDGE has put our account on cash/money order only rule and I can't even bring our account up to date paying through my bank's online pay service. I tried to explain to SDGE customer service that my bank would not pay them if I had insufficient funds but they won't listen. Writing a check is one thing, having your own bank pay the service is another. I believe they are really inflexible on this and I understand my account is on this cash only for 2 years.
