UCAN wins motion, judge requires SDG&E and SoCal Gas to provide more information on Utility of the Future

I find that the moving Parties have made a sufficient showing that there may well be significant evidence that to-date was excluded from the applicants'served testimony and filed application. I find that this exclusion may directly bear on the Commission's ability to adopt just and reasonable rates for test year 2008, as well as to fairly adjudicate the post test year ratemaking issues, including the incentive proposals, to be decided in this proceeding.

Therefore, I rule that SDG&E and SoCalGas must make a full and complete supplement to its showing as described herein. I further direct SDG&E and SoCalGas to construe this requirement broadly and comprehensively in all responses. SDG&E and SoCalGas shall prepare detailed testimony, or make other filings by counsel, to provide documentation that includes the following...
