non-profit utility watchdog protecting San Diego consumers. UCAN was recently awarded the opportunity to place inserts in the bills of the City of San Diego water/sewer utility for the purposes of raising funds for the oversight of the City's water utility management and practices.
Qualifications
Background in water utility operations and management. Also experience in management.
Salary
Up to $70,000 annually, based upon experience. Includes medical.

UCAN is a non-profit utility watchdog protecting consumers from abusive practices in the areas of energy, gasoline, telecommunications, water, and other areas. Students with an interest in Public Interest and Intellectual Property law are sought in particular for work on a new UCAN project.
Qualifications
2Ls or 3Ls as of September 2007 are eligible; Interest in Consumer law and Technology; strong writing and organizational skills.
