Sunrise Powerlink petition circulating in Chula Vista CA
The enclosed is information to be shared for general public awareness.
There is currently a petition ciruclating (in Chula Vista, CA) in favor of the Sunrise Powerlink project. It is requesting that the adressee sign & be listed as a public supporter of this project, in addition, 2 acquiring three signatures of individuals who also are in favor of the project. Once names, adressess, emails & signatures of supporters are obtained, it is requested that the petition be sent to governor Arnold Schwarzengegger for consideration & continued support of the Sunrise Powerlink project.
The cover letter includes sentences highlighted in yellow that include " help reduce the risk of blackouts," "increases access to renewable energy," & "lower our dependence on less efficient power plants and reduce greenhouse gas emissions in our region."
For individuals not having information about the pro's & con"s regarding this project, this petition, with its convincing, encouraging commentsl, can persuade and uninform public to willingly particpate without recognizing the negative future impacts the Sunrise Powerlink Project can have on their immediate neighborhood, and their pocket book.
