The Public Utilities Commission and the federal Bureau of Land Management are sponsoring eight public "scoping" meetings the week of February 5th. The public is encouraged to attend and speak out. I live in Borrego Springs and attended both the scoping meeting by staff of the CPUC and the State Parks commission on February 8. Which agencies should receive my letters of opposition to the Sunrise Powerlink? Will the legislature also be involved?
