While researching this matter I found on a web forum a comment indicating that Walmart is also selling, or has sold, recalled O2 Optix contact lenses. The link to the website is: http://www.joelitton.net/A559B2/home.nsf/d6plinks/6YT47V

I was also using o2 optix contacts , which wal-mart sold to me after the recall purchased Feb 1st/07 and I did get a bad recalled box...a few weeks before finding out..This was my secound box since Oct , 2006 having lots of eye problems dryness, red eye, this started in Dec having lots of pics. but I was slow in putting the problem together because of wearing the contacts because I didn't wear them daily Then in end of Feb/March having to see a eye specialist could not hardly see, red, watering all the time very painfull, was in lots of pain and pretty low regarding all this. This wasn't in just one eye but both...both of my cornias had over 100 nic's on them I've spent lots of money on med's trying to fix the problem this went of for over 2mths. I thought I was going blind and doctors weren't able to tell me that I wasn't going blind. I also been told that I well not be able to wear contacts again. Thanks to O2 optix and Wal-mart :-(
