I don't quite understand
I recently got a new cell phone number and I received a phone call in the middle of the night a couple of days ago. I didn't answer and dove deeper into my sleep when I heard the ring bc I knew that if it was an emergency the person would call back and hardly anyone I knew even had the phone number. I called the number back when I woke up the next morning and received a recording stating that my call could not be completed at this time and try my call again later. As soon as I hung up my phone rang again but I didn't hear it. I thought that it was a telemarketing company but when I called later that morning a male with an accent answered. I explained to him that I just got the number and he must have misdialed because I don't know him and I quickly hung up. He then proceeded to call me three additional times. When I made it to work I called again and tried to be nicer and help him understand that I know he was not looking for me because I had only had the number about a three or four days. When I told him this he asked for my name which I supplied (first name only)and gave his name as Kirk. He stated that God gave him my phone number or told him to dial my number. I don't believe this for one second and as a Christian I have a problem with people who speak of God and tell lies in the same breath. He didn't ask me for anything other than if he could call me again I wonder if my cell phone bill is going to be charged. He called late last night and I did not answer and this morning while I was ironically researching jamaican scams. Today he said that he was calling to just talk; I asked him in regards to what and did not say anything. I told him that I think these calls can get pricey and he stated that he added many minutes to his cell phone.
