Why UCAN doesn't have "Kitty Bones" or "Sewer Rats."

While it is possible to join UCAN at the "Watch Kitty Level" of membership, we generally consider ourselves to be watchdogs and protectors. Those are two qualities that cats are not generally associated with cats.

In the unlikely event that we see a kitty drag an injured hiker to safety, protect its owner from a home invasion, or even fetch our slippers, then we *might* consider changing our logo to a cat. And if that happens, we may offer some sort of vermin instead of bones, since cats are so good at catching vermin .... but somehow the idea of earning 100 "Sewer Rats" seems rather revolting, don't you think?
