UPDATE: T-mobile drops $1.50 paper billing charge
UCAN has just found out that T-Mobile will not be charging $1.50 for paper billing statements.
UCAN received numerous calls from consumers who received notice of this new fee in their recent billing statements. Consumers also reported difficulties in trying to cancel their service due to this material adverse change to their contracts. Customers reported that T-Mobile did not recognize the new fee as a material change in their contract and therefore would not let customers cancel without an early cancellation fee.
Customers will continue to receive a paper summary billing statement for free. A paper detailed billing statement is remains $1.99.
