On Friday, September 16,2011 I was in my local grocery store. I shop there mainly because they provide help with getting your things into the car at no additional charge. I was two thirds of the way through the store when I heard behind me yelling, " There is nothing wrong with you. You can walk and push a cart. Get a damn job."
I turned to see the man who said these things with a women and a child that looked to be around ten years of age.
After positioning myself I was able to look the man directly in the eyes. He appeared to be uncomfortable and taking his cues from the women.
After collecting my thoughts I redirected them to shopping (as this was not my first experience like this though still very upsetting) only to be physically hit by aonther cart being pushed by a different person. I may never know if she intentionally hit me but there was plenty of room no one else around and it felt intentional.
I have legally disabled since 1996 with common variable immune difficiency disease (cvid) and fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue and Dystonia.
Can anyone tell me how to stpo this? If someone has legal authority to observe me because of my disability what would have caused them to have this authority? I take intraveinous gamma globulin on a monthly basis and have for many years. I see a pain doctor for the fibro and dystonia pain. Because of my immune system I am unable to be treated for the Dystonia with the usual treatments of cortisone and botox. I live alone now most of the time.
My only child recently left for college and drops in on the occasional weekend. I pushed very hard to get to this place in my life and would like to be able to live my life without fear.

I have The Hartford as my disability insurance and yes, I was under surveillance for two days. How do I know? They told me!

These guys do a lot more than "spy" on claimants. I am going trhu it first hand. And it is ugly. They use all kinds of tactics to cut off people disabiltity pay checks regradless if it is a valid claim.

First is they harrass ones Doctor. Redundant requests, demanding quick repsonses, requesintg notes many times, having other doctor call up. My docotr received 6 requests in one month from the insurace company.

The insruance companies also have alls kinds of conversations on the telephone that result in totally squewed meanings from clever twisting of facts by ommissions, rewording, and straight fabrication. Of course this is now in the claim file as record and hard to dispute when the insurance company wont release the recorded phone calls.

insurnace company claims they only surveille you a few days, but in reality it can be weeks or months. And yes it get very scarey to have these guys stalkign you for months on end.

I believe the insruance uses very illegal methods thru the use of third party vendors for surveilance. For instance, how can a car follow another car to a place 75 miles away, down a one lane road, when the leading car stops numerous times on a roadway with zero traffic. Then the surveillacve happens? impossible unless gps was used.

these insurance comapnies get away with anything and the penalties and regulation are non-existant. So why would they change? they write the loopholes into the laws and donate enough money to the campaigns. How could it be any different? Long term disability insruance what a SCAM!
