West Coast Prices are almost $1.00 higher than N.C and S.C.
I was visiting relatives in the Charlotte N.C. area the last week of September 2009. I was amazed to find the prices for regular gas between $2.14 and $2.17. I visit this area regularly and prices are always better there, but never has the gap been this wide. I have heard all the explanations and excuses for high prices here, but it seems obvious these do not account for even half of a dollar per gallon difference. Can anyone suggest what we can do as individuals or collectively to get everyone in our community aware of how much money is being stolen from our weak economy.
