Even the savviest consumers step in traps. One such trap is the infamous and infuriating resort fee charged by insidious hotels. Enter Priceline. It doesn't disclose the name of the hotel, let alone the fees that the hotel may charge. The good news is that every hotel thrust has a consumer parry.
Patience is a virtue. Lying is not. So when Time Warner declares that customers attempting to return cable equipment at Time Warner offices in San Diego is rarely subjected to having to wait to return equipment one is forced to wonder is Time Warner just flat out lying or has it's sense of realiity been altered by watching too many episodes of the Twilight Zone.

UCAN has some information to pass on to you about how to complain about the property tax reassessment letters many people are receiving. If your letter came from a PO Box in Los Angeles, the L. A. Department of Consumer Affairs provided us with the letter they are sending to all applicable consumers. This letter provides you with specific information, instructions and a contact phone number. By filing complaints with our city and state agencies, we provide the documentation they need to investigate and prosecute, as needed.
