Gas up 8¢ in 7-days

Today, UCAN's gasoline survey showed that San Diego gas prices have increased by more than 8¢ in the last week, and 2.5¢ overnight.

Today's average of $3.324 a gallon is the highest on record for any January in San Diego history, and is just 18¢ shy of the all-time record for San Diego gasoline set on May 9, of 2007.

Last year on this day, San Diego regular unleaded averaged $2.65 a gallon - 67¢ less than today's average price.
