Mr. Kittle is experiencing selective amnesia, or being intentional deceitful.

Apparently Bob Kittle has forgotten that on January 26 of 2002, he published an editorial in the San Diego Union Tribune referring to Michael Shames as a "Consumers' hero" that has saved consumers $363 million.
