Mr. Kittle is experiencing selective amnesia, or being intentional deceitful.

Apparently Bob Kittle has forgotten that on January 26 of 2002, he published an editorial in the San Diego Union Tribune referring to Michael Shames as a "Consumers' hero" that has saved consumers $363 million.

Note that Bob Kittle's name appears directly above the headline - on Bob Kittle's own Editorial Opinion Page.  Mr. Kittle stated, untruthfully, that the story below "may" have appeared as an "article" in one of the news sections of Union Tribune.
